Ever watched a Cast Away movie about a man stranded on an island by himself? You can feel it directly in Gili Kedis, an uninhabited small island located on the southwest coast of Lombok Island.
Compared with Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno or Gili Air, this one island is not very popular. Therefore, visitors are not too many, so it feels like being on a private island!.
Because the size is small enough (probably not more than the football field), you only take 10 minutes to surround it. Hence the locals call it Gili Kedis or "Pulau Sparrow".

Getting There: To visit Gili Kedis we have to drive with travel time approximately 1.5 hours from downtown Mataram or from Lombok International Airport, Praya to Tawun Port. From Tawun continue crossing by boat hire - it costs approximately Rp200.000, - for 1 boat.
